Artists 4 Democracy was founded in the spirit of radical practicality to bring together artists, art educators, and students to protect democracy by mobilizing the art community for political action and civic engagement.
Through art-making workshops, campus activities, voter registration drives, artist talks, art sales, fundraisers, canvassing, political events and more, we foster and protect our participatory democracy. 2025 has brought a new urgency to our mission. We are regrouping to decide how we can best meet this moment—learn more about who we are and what we do.
In the meantime! You can fight for democracy by contacting you Representatives. They work for YOU! Your calls about specific bills and issues can make a difference. We reccommend using 5 Calls A Day which provides daily issues, phone number and scripts.
There are also House Seats up for special election on April 1st. These seats could change the balance of power in the House of Representatives. We support Gay Valimont who is running to replace Matt Gaetz and Josh Weil who is running to replace Michael Waltz.
